Hi bugsmom!

I've missed guys too! We're just going along day-to-day with summer. Porkchop is doing very well. Gaining lots of needed weight. Getting ready to start social skills classes. His Counselor, as well as his Master at Taekwondo, all help him improve a little bit at a time! Even the guy at bingo and the librarian all help out. It's great to have those sources in daily life to give a little boost.

Take care!
Squirrel

Went back to psych today and asked about it. He said no. He said it's too new and he didn't want to prescribe it for him along with the Abilify and Trileptal. He won't give him anything at this point b/c he is saying he needs something from the cardiologist saying it is ok for Sean to take because of when he had the PDA. I know the cardiologist already did this years ago as Sean has been discharged from her care for over 2 years. I remember because she gave me such attitude for wanting to put him on meds saying she didn't believe in it. The dr said he is considering Ritalin. We are not starting anything new until we are back from vacation as he will be spending the week at his mothers. Also with the Ritalin he is to start taking it on the weekends at first to see how he can tolerate it but this wont work because he is at his mothers. AND he will need to take it at school which is another problem-I remember when he first started on meds the nurse said I needed to come up to the school and give them to him myself. ARRGGHHH...nothings ever easy.
